V-79-57344-33932 – Unable to attach to a resource. Make sure that all selected resources exist and are online, and then try again. If the server or resource no longer exists, remove it from the selection list. Edit the selection list properties, click the View Selection Details tab, and then remove the resource.

the above mother ******g error kept for months.

Steps recommended as a fix:

1) Stop The BEWS services on the Media Server and the RAWS service on the Lotus server.

2) Copy the Noteslbd.txt, NotesDB.LBD, and NotesDBC.UCJ files out of the
RAWSLogs directory on the Lotus Domino server.

3) Turn off the “Enable Notes Database Filtering” and “Enable Change Journal”
Registry Keys. This can be done by setting them to 0. This should be done on
the BEWS Media Server.

5) Attempt another backup
Check the file Program FilesVERITASRemote Agent for Windows
ServersLogsNotes_Skip_List.txt on the Domino server to determine if files
are still being skipped after implementing this workaround.

Above fix didn’t work for me.

Next fix recommended :)).

Remove the agent and manually install it. Been there… done that… still failed backups.

And now how to solve this s***:

Edit the job. go to Settings -> Advanced -> Open file backup when Advanced Open File Option is not used.
Change With a lock check box to Without a lock.

Run the backup.
